We Love Colombia

The Colombian Orchid Ballet showcased the love, passion, and colors of Colombia through an Estampa Folclorica, which involved a quick display of dances from different regions of Colombia.

“It was very impressive to see the audience respond to the night of culture at the end when the d.j., who has a very broad cultural background, played the tracks of the performance and everybody seemed to know how to dance every single regional dance.”

The director of the ballet said:
“The party scene turned into a cultural response of the audience by dancing to
the traditional influences, just like it was happening in Colombia! It made me
so happy to see that our mission as cultural embassadors took place! ”

Thanks to everybody for your support!

I am very pleased to see how the roots of a country as big and pretty as Colombia extend through the people of similar and different cultures that recognize the warm and joy which we as Colombians represent. The Colombian Orchid Ballet enables a channel of relaxation and communication between all of us, the Latin community, which makes all of us, remember where we come from and that at the end of the day we are all Latinos in this country. I am glad to see how the brightness of their dance was able to create a party environment that not only made us forget about the tragedies, but also made us remember that everyday has a sunset full of beauty as they represented with their dance. Thank you Orquid Ballet, and not only for the last presentation, but for all of the ones that i have had the pleasure to attend to because I have feel that for a short period of time, i never left my country.

We Love Colombia! A very exiting event where modern musical culture merged with rich Colombian folklore. I saw the look of surprise in the public when the ballet walked on to the stage in our colorful costumes. the music began and the energy filled the room with smiles, claps, and cheers. I think the Colombian Orchid Ballet, that night, taught several styles of the rich Colombian culture through dance to all of the young Colombians in the crowd. Many of which have long been absent from true Colombian culture. I can proudly say that after that night we all left with a deep feeling within telling us how much we love Colombia!!

Just wanted to say that the Colombian Orchid Ballet did a superb job and their performance was excellent! The audience was really into the dances and the reaction afterwords was great! As the promoter of the event I have to say having such a great performance by a great dance team was the “icing on the cake” for the night “We Love Colombia”.

WE LOVE COLOMBIA: was a great experience, all of our hard work to make it a fun fill evening, paid off. I loved the comments afterwards, people telling me, it was awesome, you guys were amazing, thank you…and for this young audience to appreciate folklore I would call it a success. These days, they are so many genres of music that we tend to forget our own, especially when we live in a different country … I was happy to be part o the BOC as always and to perform for or friends at Pandora.
